Port City Bowling Club Introduces OK2PLAY? To Further Support Their Community

The ethos of Port City Bowling has its roots set firmly in being a community Club, growing the sport of Bowls and supporting the community all while delivering a great family atmosphere, excellent food and beverage, quality facilities with a variety of entertainment.

To extend on this ethos and to further support the community, Port City Bowling Club has introduced the leading technology platform for player and staff protection, OK2PLAY?.

For a member or guest to the Club, it is a very easy process of simply pressing yes or no to ‘OK2Play’, allowing Port City Bowling Club staff to assist in the implementation of the appropriate steps, if assistance is required.

“When an opportunity like OK2PLAY? comes along, it is vitally important to implement such a program so people that come into the Club know they can be safe and supported whilst in the venue,” David Gearing, CEO, Port City Bowling Club says.

“It is a great initiative. Our members and patrons can come into the safety of our Club, and they know they will be looked after.

“For us to launch, we are standing up to support our community, our members, our patrons, our staff and actively showing we care. And if you do come into game and use the machines, we can look after our patrons and they are cared for in a safe environment.

“By Implementing OK2PLAY?, we are being proactive and showing an extra level of support, and if someone does need help, we can assist them, discreetly and quickly,” Mr Gearing explains.
